Puerto Rico viewed from a gringo’s perspective

If you are tired of waiting in the nonstop traffic, you better get a motorcycle. Motorcycles tend to use the white lines that divide the lanes on the road as their lane, well - if you are lucky enough to have the white lines. They do this to skip all traffic.
You will see when traffic is crawling that sometimes the cars in the lanes will start to come closer together. This forces the motorcycle to wait or go in the lane with oncoming traffic. It is not at all uncommon to be first at a light and a motorcycle drives up through the oncoming traffic to pull up right in front of you.

Those f**kers always get on my nerves >:(
I’ve been *THIS* close to run over one of them just for the fun of it…
I have been wanting to open my door so they hit it as I am waiting in traffic just to slow them down.
I figure it would be their fault because there has to be laws against what they are doing right…???
they piss me off so bad…
I love small cars, and oddball rides… hence, I love Vespas.
I owned a Vespa in LA, which some considered insane (personally, I considered what I spent on fuel when I used the Vespa regularly proof of my sanity).
When I moved here, the first thing I sold was my Vespa… there is no way in hell am I gonna be on 2 wheels in Puerto Rico.
[…] People don’t believe the cops either. They are always breaking the driving laws. The motorcycle cops do exactly the same as all other motorcyclist that I wrote about earlier. […]
