When you come to Puerto Rico and are looking for a cheap place to stay, don’t go to a motel. Motels are not what they are in the States.
One of my friends explained to me that motels are usually only rented for eight hours at a time. The main purpose is; you guessed it – sex and or adultery.
Rooms will typically have a garage. This way both parties can drive up into the garage and walk directly into the rooms. This way if your husband, wife, or next door neighbor drives by, they won’t see your car.

From what I understand a lot of Puerto Rican motels have a theme. Meaning they are decorated to suit your mood. So some themes might be a jungle etc. The one my friend has stayed at had a disco ball that turned to the radio as well as mirrors on the ceiling.

They are all full service. So if you need to order condoms, lotions, wine, food, etc. Basically you call on the phone and order what you want. A person will bring what ever it is you asked for to a small door that doesn’t allow him to see anything inside.

All the rooms come fully equipped with TVs, DVD, CD, and if you pay extra you can get a Jacuzzi.
Motels also have added features to make your sex life more enjoyable. They all have “The Love Machine”. By looking at the pictures of a love machine, it’s not really anything mechanical. It is basically a seat that makes a girls legs spread apart… (From what I can tell?)
